Dr. Leah Larsen's connection to animals begun at a young age.  She spent summers on the family farm and working at a veterinary clinic in the town of Orangeville where she grew up.  Dr. Larsen begun her path to becoming a veterinarian in 2000 by entering the animal science program at the University of Guelph. While at the University of Guelph she discovered she also had a passion for clinical research and before entering the Ontario Veterinary College she spent a year working for the University as a research technician.

Following her Graduation in 2009, Dr. Leah entered private practice.  Her career started here at Westend Veterinary Hospital before she relocated to Aurora and joined practices closer to home.

Dr. Leah has since moved back to the area with her husband Kent, Her son Westley and fur babies; Ellie a German shorthair pointer and Bean an Italian greyhound .  When not enjoying her time interacting with clients and patients, Dr. Leah enjoys hiking reading, going to the gym and horseback riding.
